Lady Martina has left North Holland, cruising across the Markermeer to land first at Lelystad and then lock down 6 metres through the Noordersluis into the Flevoland polders. Taking the high bridge route along the Lage Vaart and emerging into the Ketelmeer, we spent the night in the Schokkerstrand regions whose museum chronicles their former life as an island community. Then the next day along the Ramsdiep and across the extensive open lake of Zwarte Meer, we have then turned North and moored at Giethoorn. This special place known as 'The Green Venice' is a totally water-based community like its Italian counterpart and we will have to launch our dinghies to tour its 'City'. You can see Lady Martina Schedule of Voyages 2019 for day-by-day news of her latest adventures.
Our movements are still visible on the public AIS (Automatic Identification System) site free of charge. For our ever changing location see Lady Martina's AIS position
