The Dutch voyages of Lady Martina and its crew had an unusual ending and addition as Inez Stertefeld joined us aboard at Amsterdam for the voyage across the North Sea to Lowestoft and up the Yare to arrive at her Brundall destination!
Inez, a familiar face to many Broom owners from her presence on Broom Boats stands in London, Southampton, Holland and Hambourg, was visiting Brooms to discuss European marketing opportunities and also wanted to make her first open-sea passage; her extensive boating experience being hitherto on the inland lakes and rivers of Europe.
It was an enjoyable and calm cruise, planned and completed in good weather and calm seas and Inez thoroughly enjoyed it and Kathleen and i also enjoyed her cheerful and talkative company!
