This section describes the cruises that Lady Martina took around the Netherlands, starting at IJmuiden and taking in Hoorn, Llelystad, Elberg, Spakerburg, Muiden and Amsterdam to a schedule that had already been organised by the Brooms Cruise Leader with Lady Martina  performing the role of lead boat for the fleet following the Leader's own boat being unservicable.

Kathleen was gradually recovering from her suspected fractured elbow which she had injured on the very day of departure rendering her arm unusable and very painful  It is a tribute to her tenacity and enjoyment of cruising that this did not put her off of cruising after this baptism of fire...
